Lima's Vince Koza is Honored with BCAO's Sam Levine Award

Lima's ESPN Radio and 93.1 FM "The Fan's" Vince Koza has been named the 2011 Sam Levine Award winner from the Bowling Centers Association of Ohio. He was the recipient due to his efforts of covering and promoting bowling in Northwest Ohio. Vince is the sports director for Maverick Media and host of his own talk show "Sports Talk with Koza". He is the former sports anchor for WLIO Television in Lima and is a member of the Ohio Broadcast Hall of Fame. Vince has promoted high school and college bowling in our area along with the professional tournaments held at Pla-Mor Lanes in Coldwater and Delphos Recreation in Delphos. He has done everything from interviewing high school bowlers during a live remote at 20th Century Lanes, doing play by play at the inaugural UNOH Racer classic held at Westgate Lanes. He has also interviewed PBA professional bowlers such as Parker Bohn III, Jason Couch, Pete Weber, Brian Kretzer, Steve Jaros & Guppy Troup. Congratulations Vince!
